Chef Lula Mártín del Campo shared this delicious Spicy, Spicy Shrimp Recipe that is perfect as an appetizer or main course.
INGREDIENTS for Spicy, Spicy Shrimp
Shrimp:
- 12 piezas de camarones medianos (3 por orden)
- 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
- ½ cucharadita de sal
- ½ cucharadita de pimienta negra
- 12 palitos para brocheta
- 12 medium shrimp (3 per portion)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 12 skewer sticks
Chipotle Mayonnaise:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ground chipotle peppers (marinated, canned)
INSTRUCTIONS (15 MINUTES)
For shrimp: Wash, remove shells and tails, devein, rinse, drain and dry. Thread the shrimp on the skewers and marinate with olive oil, salt and pepper. Grill.
For the chipotle mayonnaise: Mix the mayonnaise with the two tablespoons of chipotle chilies ground until incorporated.
