One of my favorite dishes that my mom prepares is Pork Ribs with Swiss Chard. Its preparation is very simple, but something that this dish has makes me feel very comforted. I really hope you enjoy it as much as we do each time you prepare it.
INGREDIENTS for Pork Ribs with Swiss Chard
- 4 medium red guaje tomatoes
- 2 chiles cuaresmeño chilies
- 1/2 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 bundle of Swiss chard
- 1 kilo of pork ribs
- Salt to taste
Blend tomatoes with the onion and garlic in the blender. Strain and season in oil to make a slightly thick and not very soupy stew.
The meat is cooked separately and when it is ready, fry it in a little oil. Once it is lightly browned, add the tomato sauce and the washed chard. Leave to season for half an hour.
It is accompanied by white rice and black beans.
