We are going to say goodbye to mole for a little while, and leave on a tasty and sweet note. And of course it should be with a good dessert. Since we have been thinking about different ice creams and flavors, we are going to make a Mole Ice Cream. Yes …an ice cream with Mole Poblano. So that you can truly enjoy the Flavors of Mexico (goooaaaaal) in a dessert. And, in addition, we are going to make it with Mole Listo para Servir Doña María (Doña María Ready to Serve Mole) so that life does not get complicated.
INGREDIENTS for Mole Poblano Ice Cream:
- ½ l of whole milk
- 1 vanilla pod
- 4 egg yolks
- 125 grams of sugar
- 4 tbsp Mole Poblano con Chocolate Listo para Servir Doña María (Ready-to-Serve Doña María Mole Poblano with Chocolate)
As always, I have another simple recipe for you.
Begin by bringing the milk to a boil with the vanilla and sugar. When it starts to boil, remove the vanilla pod, open it, remove the seeds and add them to the milk. Next, add the egg yolks one at a time while continuing to stir to avoid cooking them with the heat of the milk. Once integrated, let the mixture heat for a few minutes. Add the mole, mix well and pass it through to the ice cream machine.
