Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe, to Quench Cravings

A delicious Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe always fixes the problem of that dessert that we forgot to buy for a meal at home with friends and family. It’s perfect for the moment when  you have a craving for something sweet without added flavors and chemicals. Everyone loves ice cream. Here’s a simple and tasty recipe that we make at home.


•2 cups of milk
•1 egg
•300 gr of strawberries
•1 cup of heavy cream
•2 egg yolks

Place a medium sized saucepan over medium heat with a heat resistant dish inside to make a double boiler. Add water to the saucepan,  and heat the milk separately in the heat resistant dish above the water. While it is heating up, beat the egg and mix it with the yolks. Next, join the egg mixture with the warm milk. Remember to temper the eggs with a little bit of milk before adding them to the pan to avoid an uneven texture. Keep heating in the double boiler until the mixture thickens a little.

Wash the strawberries, crush them, and add cream until the texture is right. As soon as the smashed strawberry mixture is ready and the milk and egg mixture has thicken a little, mix everything until it is very compact. Leave mixture in the freezer for one hour. After the hour has passed, beat mixture and return to freezer for 2 hours.

Remove the ice cream from the freeze a while before serving, so that it is easy to scoop. It’s a rich Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream that is perfect to quench a craving or for a meal at home with friends and family.
