The Aqui Nadie Rinde Foundation holds an event where attendees can meet the best chefs in Mexico City while fundraising for children with cancer and their families. We contribute with our participation in Los Sabores de la Ciudad de México. As part of her support, Chef Martha Ortíz from the restaurant Dulce Patria gave us the recipe for this wonderful fresh water: Hibiscus Water with the Caress of Roses
INGREDIENTS for Hibiscus Water with the Caress of Roses
- 4 oz Hibiscus infusion
- 3 oz. Simple syrup, or to taste
- 1 oz Spice infusion (cinnamon, clove and star anise)
- 12 oz water
- 6 ice cubes, or to taste
- Rose petals, to decorate
Pour all the ingredients in a glass jar and stir. Decorate with rose petals.
Note: You can enrich this drink with julienne orange peel to make it even more exotic and sensual.
