For this cherry cider we will need:
- 4 cups of cherry juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 15 cloves
- 2 spoons of sugar
- 1/3 cup of cold whipping cream
- 5 teaspoons of Kirsch (cherry brandy)
- Dark chocolate zest
Let’s make this Cider home. What to do step by step.
The way of preparing it is pretty simple. First, boil the cherry juice, cloves, cinnamon and one spoon of sugar, all together. When it boils, lower the fire until it results two and a half cups only. This will take around 10 minutes. Strain the cider. We recommend to always have a stainless steel pot for this kind of things.
Beat the cream, along with the Kirsch and the remaining sugar until they reach peaks. Serve the cider in capuchiccino style glasses and put the cream on top of the drink. Add the chocolate zest for decoration.
